Adidas Cuts Ties With Kanye. The pressure is on for Ye. We are beginning to see companies like Adidas, and CAA Talent agency cut ties. During his ‘Drink Champs’ interview Ye went in against Jewish people.
His comment about Adidas” I can say antisemitic things and Adidas can’t drop me.” The sportswear giant Adidas made its announcement this week. They went on to say,
West’s recent comments and behavior are “unacceptable, hateful and dangerous” and not in line with the company’s values of diversity, inclusion, respect, and fairness, Adidas said.
“Adidas said it will stop its Yeezy business with immediate effect, end the production of Yeezy branded products and stop all payments to West and his businesses.”
Did you hear what Adidas declared? As a result, Adidas will take a loss of $240 million, as reported by Forbes. Furthermore, the talent agency CAA and Def Jam have allegedly stopped their partnership with Ye.
Now, here is my issue with this, doesn’t Ye have a right to his opinion or not? What does this all mean for Ye? Is this the beginning of his losing his billion-dollar empire? Or is this an attempt to shut Ye up?
