The 39-year-old basketball great Kevin Durant just hit a slam dunk, and he wasn’t even on the basketball court.

The dominating veteran NBA player, who is one of the greatest players (and scorers) of all time, signs with Nike in a lifetime contract.

This makes him only the third player having such a deal.

He now joins Michael Jordan and Lebron James in that endeavor.

KD has been in the game for the past sixteen years.

He’s played in four different franchises, (Seattle SuperSonics/Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors and Brooklyn Nets, and Phoenix Suns).

The veteran manages to add historic scoring to every team he’s a part of.

Though the amount of money has not been disclosed, you better believe it’s all good stuff.

Yeah, this is a huge deal!

The news was first announced by his company, Boardroom.

Off the court, KD is one of the highest-earning basketball players in the world.

This new deal with Nike just adds to his many projects under his belt.
