Jay-Z’s RocNation Accused Of Stealing Hits

Jay-Z’s RocNation Accused Of Stealing Hits. It has been alleged RocNation stole music from A$AP Ferguson & Glorilla. But are the allegations true?

Did RocNation Steal Hit Singles From Rappers?

Jay-Z’s RocNation Accused Of Stealing Hits. Music producer Kerry D. Brown claims RocNatoin stole beats.

In other words, Brown claims RocNation used beats he created, as stated by Hip Hop DX.

This was all done without Brown’s permission, he alleges.

Songs by A$AP Ferg’s “Plain Jane” (2017) and GlorRilla’s “F.N.F. (Let’s Go) were allegedly taken.

For this reason, Brown filed a lawsuit against RocNation.

We all know that RocNation is Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter’s organization.

Brown alleges that he met Lenny Santiago, aka Lenny S., at a conference in Houston (2015).

During that meeting, Brown allegedly gave samples of his instrumentals.

Brown did this in hopes of forming a working relationship with Santiago.

Instead, Brown claims his beats were used in songs. However, he did receive any credit.

At this time, Santiago, Sony Music Entertainment Digital, L.L.C. has been named in the lawsuit,

Also, Blac Noize Recordings L.L.C. is named too.

We don’t know how this lawsuit will affect Jay-Z.

Of course, if Brown wins, it will take money out of Jay’s pocket.

What we can say is these are serious allegations.

Not only that, this could cost millions of dollars for RocNation.

That is, if these allegations are proven to be true.

At any rate, it looks like Brown will have his day in court.
