Rapper Coolio Has Passed Away!!!!! Legendary rapper Coolio has been found dead in the bathroom of his friend’s house. He was 59.

Artis Leon “Coolio” Ivey, Jr. Death: The Latest!!!!!

According to tmz.com, Coolio, whose real name is Artis Leon Ivey, Jr, came up on the LA rap scene in the late 80s. He blew up nationally when he released “Gangsta’s Paradise for the “Dangerous Minds” movie soundtrack. The song reached #1 and stayed there for 3 weeks.

Firstly, Coolio’s longtime manager, Jarez says that Coolio went to the bathroom and his friends house, but when he didn’t come out after a while the friend kept calling for him and eventually went in and found Coolio laying on the floor.

Secondly, the friend then called EMT’s who arrived and pronounced Coolio dead on the scene. Jarez told TMZ that the paramedics suspect he suffered cardiac arrest. An official cause of death has not been determined.
