Quik Is The Name is Released

DJ Quik released his debut studio album Quik Is The Name January 15, 1991. Quik Is The Name debuted at #29 on the US Billboard 200 chart, selling well over 50,000 copies in the first week. DJ Quik’s freshman release was certified Gold 4 months after its release on May 30, 1991 and Platinum 4 years later on July 26, 1995. The album has sold well over 1 million copies in the United States to date.
