Shakur Stevenson dominates boxer Oscar Valdez. And he went home with his two belts, Valdez’s two belts, and a new fiance.

Shakur Stevenson Cruises Pass Oscar Valdez In Super Featherweight Matchup

Shakur Stevenson had a great night in boxing, beating out Oscar Valdez.

Before the fight, Valdez entered the ring with a 30-0 record, including 23 knock-outs.

But, surprisingly, his superpowers were extinguished in this match.

Not only did Stevenson retain his WBC super featherweight title, but he also picked up Valdez’s WBO title.

Dominating the fight, Stevenson spent the last seconds dancing around the ring.

Upon being announced the winner, 24-year-old Stevenson said –

“I’m a superstar in this sport. I want to collect all the belts at 130 and become undisputed. I deserve to be a superstar, so that’s what I gotta do.”

Inspired by iconic rapper Tupac, the boxer’s name is Ash-Shakur Nafi-Shahid Stevenson.

Gracefully accepting his win, he had nice words to say about his opponent –

“He’s a great fighter. His speed is there. Power is there. He was just the better fighter tonight. Overall, a great fighter.”

But that’s not the only trick he had up his sleeve.

Shakur used his winning moment to make rapper Young Lyric a very happy woman.

He bent down on one knee and proposed right there on the spot, check it out –

As he also just inked a deal with Top Rank.

On that possibility, Shakur says –

“Devin is definitely a huge fight for me; Devin is a helluva fighter. We can line it up in the future.”
