Common Brushes Off Donald Trump’s Threats To “Send In The Feds” To Chicago| Throwback
Chicago Rapper Common dismissed President Donald Trump promise to send in the feds to curb Chicago gun violence. Apparently, President Trump took to twitter to let the people in Chicago know he is going to send in the Feds if the violence continues.
Here is what Common had to say after Trumps tweet:
“For me, I feel like to help Chicago, you know, we’ve got to take care of our own. Within the community. We’ve go to do things. It’s a lot of people out there already organizing and doing things. We need our state and local people to do things.”We don’t need that type of mentality, so I’m not focused on the president right now. I’m focused on helping the people in the city and how we can do it.”
Obviously, Common is not moved by the negative comments that President Trump was tweeting about. Common feels that there is enough people helping with the crime in Chicago. There is no need for Federal government involvement.
