Rob Kardashian Drops Case Against Blac Chyna
Blac Chyna, 33, and Rob, 34, have settled their six-year legal battle. Rob Kardashian has dropped his assault lawsuit against Blac Chyna on the grounds that his love for his daughter Dream “outweighs” his desire to fight in public.
One month after their child was born, the former Keeping Up With the Kardashians star sued his ex for attacking him with a six-foot metal pole.
Page Six reports that Rob Kardashian has asked to have his assault lawsuit against Blac Chyna dismissed without prejudice for the sake of their daughter.
Blac Chyna Wins Again!
The outlet reports that a judge has approved the motion, ending the ugly dispute.
In an interview with the publication, Rob explained his decision, saying, “My love for Dream outweighs my desire to proceed with my legal claims against her mother in public.
“Now that the court has ruled that there is sufficient evidence to warrant a jury trial on my claim for assault, for our daughter’s sake, I am dismissing the action and focusing on my co-parenting relationship with Chyna.”
Rob Kardashian Seeks to Delay The Trial
Last week, the judge on the case denied the TV personality’s request to delay the start of the trial.
Rob sued Blac Chyna for assault after he claimed she tried to strangle him with an iPhone charging cord while intoxicated with cocaine and alcohol in September 2017.
Rob Needed Time To Gather More Evidence Against Blac Chyna
The sock designer claimed he was able to escape, but not before the model hit him multiple times on the head and face with a metal pole.
The E! celebrity posted pictures of his allegedly injured head and neck on social media after the incident, though Blac Chyna has fully denied the allegations.
Lynn Ciani, her lawyer, said there was “NO violent attack, and that this is just another one of Rob’s lies.”
Rob Kardashian’s Celebrity Sisters To The Rescue
It was revealed earlier this week that Rob’s family members were considering getting involved in the pending case.
Documents obtained by Radar Online indicate Kylie and Kim, as well as mom Kris Jenner, had planned to testify during the trial.
In the new papers, both parties disclosed the witnesses they intended to call.
The Second Court Win For Blac Chyna Against The Kardashians
Rob and Blac Chyna both included Kris’ boyfriend, Corey Gamble, as another one of the planned witnesses because he allegedly picked Rob up after the alleged attack.
Rob claimed in court documents that he “believed Chyna intended to inflict severe injury on him and feared for his life,” according to one report.
Chyna and Rob are also embroiled in a custody battle over their five-year-old daughter, Dream.
In November 2016, Blac CHyna gave birth to a baby girl, but after a brief reconciliation, the couple split at the end of the year, and Blac Chyna was soon seen without her engagement ring.
