Nipsey Hussle’s death has sparked conspiracy theories. The Hip Hop community is reeling after the tragedy of losing one of their own heroes. Was Nipsey killed because of the upcoming documentary on Dr. Sebi? Or did Nipsey have enemies with rival gangs in LA?
Was Nipsey targeted for impacting his community?
Some would say that Nipsey Hussle was a product of his environment. Others would say that Nipsey never ended his gang affiliation. And, yet others would say that Nipsey was targeted because he was making positive changes in his community? Or was Nipsey gunned down in front of his store because of his intention to make a documentary about Dr. Sebi’s trial? All of these are possibilities on why Nipsey Hussle was murdered. When the truth is not known we tend to look for our own reasoning. Especially, since Nipsey was a rising star. Nevertheless, a senseless murder took place. And many lives are changed forever.
Nipsey Hussle was a great example of changing your own narrative.
In a report by Vulture, Nipsey was considered to be an outside of the box thinker. He was an innovator. Nipsey Hussle managed to make mix-tape sales popular again. In fact, Nipsey sold 1,000 copies of “Crenshaw” for $100 apiece, including 100 to a notably impressed Jay Z. Other independent rappers followed such as Mach – Hommy and Frank Ocean. Nipsey was quite an entrepreneur. His street brand and store “Marathon Clothing” turned the block he once hustled on into a legal operation that provided jobs for the community.” This is some of the reason why his death is so devastating for the Hip Hop community and those who loved him. Also, Nipsey’s life was a great example for being able to make it out of the”Hood.” Especially, for those who felt there was no way out.
