Yeah, the rapper/singer/songwriter was honored with his own day.

He is enjoying such a good year in 2022, with a lot to smile about.

His most recent album It’s Only Me topped the Billboard charts.

Also, for the second year in a row, the 27-year-old received the ASCAP Songwriter of the Year award.

Now, the Atlanta City Council gave the rapper – real name Dominique Armani Jones – a proclamation on Sunday.

Jones took to social media to thank his fans with prayer emojis.

Among those who responded to his post are Lil Meech of BMF, Trae Young, Lala Anthony, Ludacris, and others.

Of course fans chimed in too, giving him lots of love.

Additionally, Lil Baby launches his Four The People Foundation, after receiving his 2022 Black Music Action Coalition Gala’s Quincy Jones Humanitarian Award.

After the city sent Takeoff a fitting tribute to his homegoing, this event marked something for everyone to celebrate.
