Latto Teams Up With Lakeyah. Lakeyah Robinson signed a contract with Motown Records. She is looking forward to making great music. Robinson started her career on Instagram.
Her freestyle remix of City Girls and rapper JT’s “First Day Out”, was how she was noticed. Of course, the rest is history.
Motown’s CEO Ethiopia Habetmariam shared her excitement by saying,
“Lakeyah is an undeniable talent that has been honing her craft under the tutelage of QC,” Habtemariam shared in a statement. “Her ability to maneuver from rap prowess to melodic songstress is seamless and we’re excited about all of the incredible forthcoming music. Lakeyah has been dedicated to her craft since the age of 15, and now is primed for success at the highest level.”
Having said this, Lakeyah gets the chance to work with rapper Latto, as reported by Complex. Robinson shared her thoughts about working with Latto,
“I got the chance to collab with one of my favorite new era rap girls!” Lakeyah said about joining forces with Latto. “Both the song and the video are fire. I can’t wait for everyone to hear ‘Mind Yo Business.’”
Here Is A Little History On Latto
Latto has emerged as a hip-hop star. Alyssa “Latto” Stephens started out on “The Rap Game.”
She was only known as Mullato back then. The reality TV show allowed her to develop and evolve as an artist, as reported by Wikiwand.
After she released her hit single “Bitch From Da Souf”, (2019), people noticed her talent. The song was so popular it got a remix. And, Trina and Saweetie rapped to her lyrics.
That remix gave new life to her song.

Stephens went on to work with rapper Gucci Mane on “Muwop.” Both of her songs “Muwop”, and “Bitch from da Souf”, went platinum.
However, her second album “Big Energy” (2022) is her highest-charting single so far. In addition, Stephen was named “XXL” Freshman Class of 2020.
