One half of the sister duo Chloe x Halle is gearing up to go it solo.

The new music video comes ahead of her debut studio album, In Pieces.

Other singles released already include Pray It Away and Treat Me, which are expected to be on her new album.

The 24-year-old singer and actress tapped Chris Brown to join her this time around.

Though there was backlash for the choice to include Brown, the project is getting rave reviews from fans.

After praising the singer in a post, Chris Brown received this reply –

“Can’t wait for the world to hear the magic we created.”

Speaking about her album, Chloe has this to say during an interview with Essence –

“everything that I’ve been going through, all the tearing down, people underestimating, telling me I can’t do it — all of those things have gone into the music.”

“The album is me picking myself up and talking myself out of any little place or space that the world has tried to put me in, that people and personal relationships have tried to put me in, and even [doing that to] myself. It’s me breaking free.”
