Cardi B Goes Platinum. This news came hours after her Summer Walker and SZA collab. The Invasion of Privacy album is the gift that keeps on giving. According to Chart Data, this is the first Hip Hop album to have every song go platinum.

You might remember Cardi from Love & Hip Hop New York. Some notable cast-mates are Yandy Smith, Peter Gunz, and Jim Jones. After joining the show in season six, her career exploded. DJ Self introduced his protege Cardi B. to the world, and she’s been at the top ever since.
Following a string of mixtapes, the Bronx native gave us Invasion of Privacy. The project has features from Migos, 21 Savage, and Kehlani. Beyond that, some credible producers are Boi-1da and DJ Mustard. Most notably, J. White Did It who produced Bodak Yellow.
Cardi Still Topping The Charts
According to Wiki, Cardi is enjoying much success with Invasion of Privacy. One of the most important factors is the album has the top streams on Spotify.
In addition, it is the best female rap album of the 2010s, as reported by The Recording Academy.
Of course, the wins don’t stop there. In fact, just hours after her Summer Walker feature, the good news followed.
Specifically, every single from Invasion of Privacy is certified platinum. After continuously topping the charts, some songs are double platinum.
In spite of that, the platinum rapper stated the recording process wasn’t always easy. For example, in her “Sway in The Morning” interview, she explains:
“This has been the hardest thing ever. It’s not easy to focus on a song because of the type of pressure everyone has put on me. Like, at first when I was doing music it was fun and I was so eager to get in the studio all the time.”
