Tekashi has been moved to a Federal Facility
His latest album Dummy Boy was scheduled to be released yesterday. However, there is now no date set for release. Hours before his arrest he released a track from the new album. Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, A Boogie, Tory Lanez, Gunna, and Bobby Shmurda are some of the featured artist on the new album.
Here is what was posted on Tekashi Instagram page:
“Due to circumstances beyond our control we have postponed the release of Tekashi 6ix9ine’s “Dummy Boy” until further notice.”
Also, Tekashi was transferred from Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn to a new federal facility that is often used for witnesses cooperating with authorities, according to Billboard. Tekashi’s lawyer, Lance Lazzaro reported that Tekashi was moved for “security reasons” because allegedly he has been receiving threats from gang members.
