YNW Melly Trial Has Started. The young rapper has a troubled past. Melly’s trouble with the law started as a teen.
He was charged with three counts of aggravated assault at 16 years old. That was for shooting a gun at the Vero Beach High School.
In Billboard’s report, Melly was arrested on two other occasions. One was for possession of marijuana.
The other was for possession of a weapon. Despite this trouble, Melly managed to start a rap career.
Before his release mixtape ‘We All Shine,” he was arrested. Melly has released four projects since 2017.
I Am You was released in 2018. Then he released “Murder on My Mind” was released in 2018.
Also, Melly his project“Melly vs. Melvin” debut his first studio album.
Afterward, his sophomore joint, “Just a Matter of Slime,” came out in 2021.
Additionally, Melly was featured on “Slums,” “The Mob’, and “Brazy.”
Melly has worked with rappers Trippie Red, YNW BSlime, and YNW Bortlen.
Needless to say, Melly was a rising star.
At the same time, Melly was fortunate enough to work with Kanye West.
But his fame did not last.
On April 11, 2023, Melly’s trial began.
Now, Melly is on trial for a double murder.
Christopher “Juvy” Thomas Jr. and Anthony “Sak” Williams were murdered on October 26, 2018.
This incident happened shortly after the victims left a Florida studio.
Both Thomas and Williams were dropped off at Miramar Memorial Hospital.
As stated by All Hip Hop, Melly, and YNW Bortlen dropped them off.
When Melly and Bortlen were arrested, police were told it was a drive-by shooting.
However, police later determined Melly and Bortlen had lied.
In fact, both men staged the crime scene to look like a drive-by.

Here’s the interesting part, Melly was the shooter.
It is ironic that Melly’s breakout hit “Murder on My Mind.” became a reality.
Was the song motivation for his allegedly murdering his two friends?
Or did something go wrong between the four friends”
We will find out now that Melly’s trial has started.
In a report by XXL Mag, Melly wants his fans to show up.

“I got court today for all my supporters that want to come show support this has been a long journey. God is on my side,” YNW Melly penned in the caption. “201 SE Sixth St, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. 33301.”
Can you believe it? Obviously, Melly thinks he can beat the double murder charges.
Otherwise, he would not have invited fans to come to his trial. Nevertheless, this is going to be a very interesting trial.
