T.I. addresses His Son’s Arrest. King is Clifford and Tameka Harris’s oldest son. Lately, he has been getting in trouble. This time King was arrested.

T.I. Addresses His Son’s Arrest. Is King following in his Dad’s footsteps? Apparently so. The young teen has been allegedly involved in a few mishaps. Things appear to be getting worse.
In fact, he was allegedly arrested. However, details of his arrest a sketchy. Nevertheless, his Dad went live on social media, as reported by Black Atlanta Star. And, what T.I. said is worth mentioning.
Especially since I understand his sentiment. One of the most difficult jobs is raising children. Of course, it is the most rewarding experience. But when you have children who tend to stray it can be hard.
When you try to convince a child to stay on the straight path. Well, it seems T.I. is experiencing this with King. Needless to say, T.I. appears to be frustrated. Rightfully so.
I don’t know any parent who wants to see their child in trouble. Let’s look at what he said,
“If he godd–n keep that s–t up, he’s going to prison. Ain’t no way around it, ain’t nothing I’ll be able to do about it,” he said. “‘Cause I know that energy. I was that energy. I know exactly how it’s going to turn out,”
He went on to say,
“He done got all the whuppings and punishment,” the father continued. “Did everything, as a child, you could do to him. So, now you’re gonna have to go through it and get through it and ain’t nothing that me and mama or nobody else gonna be able to say about it.”
Surely, other parents can empathize with T.I. It is difficult to see your child make mistakes. Some would say that King should know better. Keep in mind, that he is a teen.
Oftentimes, teens have a difficult it making the transition into adulthood. Not to mention, the pressure of being the son of someone famous. Believe it or not, there are no perfect children.
Many would disagree with T.I.’s statement. They think King has lived a privileged life. Therefore, he should not be engaging in alleged risky behavior.
On the other hand, being privileged does not negate healthy choices. We all get to choose our own paths in life. Also, peer pressure is hard to dodge. hopefully, King will get some professional support.
