Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department responded to gunfire. Lo and behold, it was at singer Rihanna’s mansion.

And, in a terrifying turn of events, the LAPD has arrested a woman for allegedly opening fire on the Beverly Hills estate.  The incident occurred in broad daylight on Sunday, March 8, 2026, around 1:20 p.m. PT.

Key Details Of The Incident

According to police reports, between five and seven shots were fired toward the property. While the bullets did not hit the residence itself, investigators found multiple bullet holes in the property’s security gate and an RV parked in the driveway.

Crucially, Rihanna was inside the home during the attack, along with several other people. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. This could have turned out badly for the singer.

However, it appears that Rihanna may not have known shots were being fired. Furthermore, no one was injured, even the female suspect who was arrested.

The Investigation and Arrest

The LAPD, with the assistance of a police helicopter, tracked the suspect’s vehicle shortly after she fled the scene. According to Fox 10 News, a 35-year-old woman, identified as Ivanna Lisette Ortiz of Orlando, Florida, was taken into custody. This happened approximately 30 minutes after the initial 911 call.

• Weapon Recovered: Authorities discovered an AR-15-style assault rifle and seven shell casings inside the suspect’s car.

• Charges and Bail: Ortiz has been booked on charges related to the shooting, with bail set at a staggering $10,225,000.

Some are wondering why the singer’s home was targeted. Is it possible that the woman was unhindered? Was it a random attack? Or were the shots fired at Rihanna’s home a personal attack of vendetta? Either way, inquiring minds want to know. Especially since there could be no possible reason for Rihanna to be targeted.

More importantly, could this shooting be related to A$AP Rocky, Rihanna’s boyfriend?

Afterall, we could believe someone would target her boyfriend, who is a rapper. But for someone to shoot at her mansion is a bit troubling, to say the least.

That said, an ongoing investigation is underway.

A History Of Security Concerns

This isn’t the first time Rihanna’s privacy and safety have been compromised. Her various Los Angeles properties have been the target of multiple stalkers and break-ins over the years, including a 2018 incident where an intruder spent 12 hours inside one of her homes while she was away.
