However, Roddy’s Grammy was allegedly found by a YouTuber who wouldn’t return the trophy until Roddy paid him $50K.

Complex reports that Roddy Rich’s lost Grammy was found inside a storage facility. The rapper claims his Grammy was placed in storage while he was traveling.
His assistant was allegedly responsible for managing the storage but was in a car accident. So, Roddy claims the YouTuber, known for hunting treasures, found it.
However, he mentions when Prieto Hunter contacted him, he offered $10k. Some sort of misunderstanding about what Prieto wanted for his finding the trophy was had.

It appears the California YouTuber wanted a reward for finding the Grammy award. As we mentioned, Roddy Ricch was not opposed to rewarding Preito.
Roddy won the Grammy for Best Rap Performance for “Racks in the Middle.” The 2020 hit was a collaboration with the late rapper Nipsey Hussle.
Extortion Attempt Over Prestigious Music Award
Roddy explained on Instagram what went down in trying to recover his Grammy. He claimed Preitor showed up at a police station with “two cops and three n**as with cameras.”
It looked like Prieto was allegedly “chasing clout.” Some people did not understand why Roddy did not properly secure his Grammy. He admitted that unforeseen circumstances permitted him to secure his Grammy.
Naturally, Roddy regrets the situation but is grateful the Grammy has been returned. At this time, we don’t know if Preito was given a substantial reward.
So far, Prieto has allegedly paid $280 for the Grammy and clothing and has been compensated.
