The Bronx rapper and her husband are estranged. And, we have heard rumors about their infidelity. However, we could not have imagined their divorce would play out in public.
Fans immediately began speculating about the state of their marriage. It is hard to see a celebrity couple’s relationship fall apart.
As more posts surfaced, it became clear that something serious was happening between them. Last year, rumors surfaced of Remy going out with rapper Ez Da Block Captain.
Ez Da Block Captain and Remy were seen out dining. In case you don’t know, he was one of the artists she worked with to develop his career.
Then we saw Papoose out with boxer Clarissa Shields and realized Remy Ma and Papoose were not together.
Fans Shocked By Couple’s Public Divorce Battle
As the drama unfolded, fans were left in disbelief as Remy Ma took shots at Papoose. The once-inseparable couple now seemed at odds.
The accusations and insults hurled back and forth are sad. According to Collider News, Remy and Papoose’s love story unfolds on the reality series Love & Hip Hop: New York.
Most people did not know about Remy Ma and Papoose. But if you are a long-time hip-hop fan, you know about Remy Ma.
As Wiki states, she was part of the rapper Fat Joe’s “Terror Squad.” New Yorkers fell in love with Remy’s style of rap. Just as her career was taking off, Remy went to prison.
Having said this, Remy was arrested in July 2007. A woman, Makeda Barnes-Joseph, claimed Remy shot her at a nightclub in Manhattan. After eight years in prison, she was released in May 2008.
Her boyfriend (Papoose) stayed by her side throughout the incarceration. When Remy got out, she resumed her relationship with Papoose.
Eventually, they got married and had a child. Life between the family was good. However, something happened to their love story as time went on.
As I have noted, their relationship took a turn for the worse. As a result, divorce is imminent for Remy Ma and Papoose.
