Skilla Baby Shot Three Times In Drive-By Shooting in Detroit
An assailant in a dark-colored SUV fired over 20 rounds at Skilla Baby’s vehicle, causing him to crash into a building. He sustained non-fatal injuries, including a gunshot wound to the hand and grazes to his head and back. A witness transported him to a local hospital, where he is reported to be in stable condition and expected to make a full recovery.
Skilla Baby has been a prominent figure in Detroit’s rap scene since his 2019 mixtape “Push That Shit Out Skilla.” He gained wider recognition with his 2020 hit “Womack” and was signed to Geffen Records in 2022. His 2022 album “We Eat The Most” debuted at No. 16 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart .
