On Thursday, June 27, 2024, Ralo left for his freedom. According to XXL Mag, Ralo posted the news on his Instagram and shared a photo of his release form.

This signals the end of a chapter in his life marked by legal troubles. The rapper was arrested in 2018 for allegedly being a gang leader.

Famerica street gang was known to have smuggled almost $2 million worth of weed in California. And, allegedly, their distribution of drugs extended to Atlanta.

Ralo was sentenced to eight years in prison after his hearing in 2019. Some of the charges were conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute marijuana, as stated by Vibe.

His other charges included felony possession of a firearm and money laundering. Initially, Ralo rejected a plea deal in 2019. However, he eventually took the plea agreement he was offered.

While incarcerated, Ralo released two studio albums, 2019’s ‘Free Ralo’ and ”Political Prisoner.’

If you were wondering, Ralo was signed to Gucci Mane’s label.

His release from the halfway house is a significant milestone in his journey towards redemption and a fresh start.
