Rapper Dark Lo Is Fighting For His Life In Prison. In 2021, Charles Salley better known as Dark Lo was sentenced to 7 years in prison.
It appears that Dark Lo sent an intimidating letter to a witness. Apparently, Dark Lo sent Dontez Stewart who at the time was and government informant.
Stewart was a witness on the case of another Philly rapper Abdul ” AR-Ab” West. AR-Ab and Dark Lo were friends and fellow record label, artists on OBH Records
Somehow, Dark Lo thought he would be helping his friend avert prison time. However, his efforts backfired.
During AR-Ab trial Dark Lo was in attendance in the courtroom. At the same time, Dark Lo was arrested on the spot, as reported by Complex.
Later on, we found out that Dark Lo was having some health issues while in prison. As a result of his health issues, Dark Lo’s health has declined.
According to Camellia Boyd, Dark Lo’s finance he is in stage 4 renal failure. Also, he is suffering from type 2diabetes, according to Vlad TV. To make matters worst, Dark Lo was diagnosed with Covid -19.
With that being said, Boyd has started a GoFundMe to help him. Although we don’t know what the money will actually be used for, people are donating.
Additionally, Dark Lo is asking for a compassionate release. This is the second time he has asked.
Unfortunately, Dark Lo did not hear anything from the prison board the first time he made the request.
But maybe the prison board will have some compassion and release him. In this case, there is a possibility his condition could be fatal.
