The altercation with fellow rapper Megan Thee Stallion led to Lanez being convicted of shooting her.

He was sentenced to a lot of time in jail.

After a court ruling, Lanez was found guilty of shooting Megan Pete.

The rapper has maintained his innocence throughout the proceedings.

Claiming that he never intended to harm Megan Thee Stallion.

Despite his legal team’s arguments for his release, the judge has remained unswayed.

The judge’s refusal to grant Lanez’s plea for prison release is a significant setback in his legal battle.

Obviously, the judge believes Lanez is a possible threat to the community.

Otherwise, his appeal would have been granted.

Or at least, the judge would take the matter into consideration.

With each denied plea, Tory Lanez faces the grim reality of prolonged incarceration.

That means, Lanez may have to serve out his time in prison, after all.
