In a recent turn of events, rapper Offset finds himself entangled in a legal dispute as a lawsuit has been filed against him for allegedly assaulting a security guard at the popular cultural event ComplexCon. The incident occurred back in 2021 when he attended the popular show. But details of the alleged assault are a little sketchy.

Daveon Clark, a security guard at ComplexCon has filed a lawsuit against Offest.
According to Hip Hop DX, named in the assault lawsuit is rapper YRN Murk.
Both rappers Offset and YRY Murk, had attended the show when an alleged fight broke out.
Clark, claims YRN Murk allegedly spat on him.
He then goes on to say, Offset whose real name is Kiari Cephus, allegedly hit him
Here is what Offset had to say about the matter,
“I wasn’t fighting at ComplexCon. I stepped in to break up a fight caused by a booth’s security,” he said. “The story is false and overshadows why I’m a regular at ComplexCon. I was there to support the culture and emerging brands and designers. I’m focused on that. I’m in a positive space. Appreciate the concern.”
The guard allegedly sustained injuries as a result of the alleged assault.
In addition, Clark claims he suffered emotional distress leading to him pursuing legal action.
