Latto Powerhouse Award is among the honors at the 2023 Billboard Women In Music ceremony. The event is taking place in March.

Latto Powerhouse Award To Be Presented At The 2023 Billboard Women In Music Awards

Latto is receiving an award at the 2023 Billboard Women In Music Awards.

The 24-year-old Atlanta-based rapper/singer/songwriter is being honored at this year’s ceremony.

She is getting the Powerhouse Award.

Past recipients of the award include Jessie J, Brittany Howard, Andra Day, Kelly Clarkson, Megan Thee Stallion, Dua Lipa, and Doja Cat.

Latto – real name Alyssa Michelle Stephens – is signed with RCA Records.

Queen of da Souf hit the streets in 2020, and 777 in 2022.

Her 777 track “Big Energy” reached No. 3 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart last year.

Quinta Brunson is hosting this year’s Women In Music event.

Billboard Editorial Director Hannah Karp has this to say –

“We’re thrilled to recognize these groundbreaking artists across genres and generations who are defining today’s sound – and paving the way for tomorrow’s women in music. With the inspiring Quinta Brunson as our host, this year’s Billboard Women in Music Awards is going to be an incredible night.”

Look for Latto to have another spectacular year, as she also has a couple of nominations at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards.

The categories are Best Melodic Rap Performance for Best Energy (Live), and the coveted Best New Artist category.

That is taking place on February 5th.

As for the 2023 Billboard Women in Music Awards show, that happens on March 1st at the YouTube Theatre in L.A.
