Kanye West is being sued by Pastor David Paul Moten. All due to ye sampling his voice in his song from his DONDA 2 album, Come To Life.

Kanye West is facing a lawsuit.

Pastor David Paul Moten of Texas is suing the rapper for using 70 seconds of one of his sermons in a song on his album, DONDA 2.

And it’s actually more than 20% of the entire song.

You can hear his voice, apparently during a sermon, at the beginning of the song, Come To Life.

Additionally, it is also heard in a loop throughout the song.

According to legal documents, the legal team of Pastor Moten speaks about the constant habit of artists, including West, who go on to –

“willfully and egregiously sampling sound recordings of others without concsent or permission.”

Not only is Ye being sued, but the lawsuit also names Good Music, Universal Music Group, and Def Jam Records for damages.
