He was released to a community confinement program on Jan. 7, 2026. This sort of program places the rapper in a residential reentry center (halfway house).
During his stay at the houseway house in Philadelphia, Fetty Wap will participate in community initiatives. His project release date is scheduled for Nov. 8, 2026.

Fetty Wap’s legal troubles began in October 2021 when he was arrested at the Rolling Loud festival in Queens, New York. He eventually pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess and distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine.
The rapper was sentenced to 72 months in May 2023. There were six other defendants accused of allegedly distributing drugs across the U.S.
And, authorities say this illegal drug distribution used the US Postal Service. In addition, the Feds claim the drugs were hidden in compartments inside vehicles.
