DDG Arrested, Spent The Night In Jail!!!

DDG was arrested on a felony charge and spent the night behind bars. Though details of his arrest are yet to be revealed, he has since been released.

DDG Arrested In Los Angeles, Facing Felony Charge

YouTube star turned rapper DDG was arrested and taken into custody.

And it all went down at approximately 9:30 Monday night while the Michigan native was in Los Angeles.

According to authorities, DDG (real name Darryl Dwayne Granberry, Jr.) was booked into the Van Nuys Jail, though details surrounding the arrest are pretty sketchy.

However, he was released this morning at about 4 a.m. after paying a bond of $35,000.

Now he has to wait until June 28th for his court date.

After dropping his debut album, Valedictorian in November of 2019, his most recent project is the mixtape Die 4 Respect released last March.

And that project had him collaborating with Youngboy Never Broke Again, Lil Yachty, Coi Leray, Blueface, and 42 Dugg…among others.

Now he’s set to release new music.

Ironically, the rapper posted to his social media page about a new song titled Storyteller.

That single is set to drop on Friday, June 10th.

The same day that post went out, is when he was nabbed by police and sent to the slammer.

Perhaps after this adventure, he will have even more storytelling to do.
