Cardi B Community Service Update. According to the mom of two, community service wasn’t so bad.
She chronicled her outfits of the day throughout her journey while keeping her spirit high. Also, she’d include a caption reminding folks not to take advantage of their freedom.
You might recall, the Bronx rapper plead guilty in September 2022 to misdemeanor charges in NYC. Specifically, endangerment and third-degree assault. Along with that came 15 days of community service.
Consequently, the NYC judge ordered her to maintain a distance from the victims for three years. As well as, complete the service hours by the end of the year.
However, Cardi failed to complete any community service time, and reappeared in court in January.
This time, she requested an extension which was ruled in her favor. Surprisingly, the judge extended the deadline to March 1st.
Well, all the extra time must’ve given the Up rapper time to change her mindset. She took to Twitter to reflect on the journey.
Seemingly, the encounter was illuminating.
“Community service has been the best thing that has happened to me,” she wrote. “Almost like a spiritual journey because sometimes I leave these centers in tears .Those people that we leave behind they just need somebody to talk and a lil push and YOU might be able to change their life forever.”
Certainly, it’s amazing to be able to make a difference in people’s lives. Apart from that, she continues to succeed across the board.
Recently, Cardi and her husband Offset announced their venture with McDonalds—the Cardi B and Offset meal.
