Candace Owen Blast Stephen A Smith For Covid – 19 Comments!!!
Recently, we heard that sports commentator Stephen A. Smith had coronavirus. Smith spoke about his ordeal with Covid-19.
Did Candace Owens Disrespect Stephen A. Smith?
Many of us have been affected by Covid-19 in some way or another. This deadly virus has taken the lives of many people. We could have never predicted a virus of this magnitude would leave some shaken to their cores. But it did.
Over the holidays, Smith was hospitalized from symptoms of coronavirus. Smith returned to the “First Take” show recently. And, he revealed what his experience was with the virus. He admitted he nearly died. According to Smith, he had pneumonia, and a fever over 103-degree every night. Also, he mentioned he had headaches, night sweats, and a persistent cough, as reported by BET.
In addition, Smith shared,
“I can’t tell you how lucky and sincerely blessed I am to be sitting here with you guys today,” Smith told his co-hosts, “Because two-and-a-half, three weeks ago, I didn’t know if I was going to make it.”
Smith said doctors also told him that he likely would’ve died if he had not been vaccinated.
“That’s how bad it was,” Smith said. “I had pneumonia in both lungs. My liver was bad. It ravaged me.”
In spite of his ordeal, Smith let his fans know he was on the road to full recovery.
Having said this, after his admission, Candace Owens took to her Twitter account and posted this,
Stephen A. Smith caught Covid, was hospitalized with severe symptoms, and *almost* died.
He believes that this is proof that the vaccine he received, worked.Because he only *almost* died.

People On Owens Twitter Took Up For Smith
When Owens made the comment on Twitter, people went in on her, as reported by Black Enterprise. Obviously, those in her DM’s were not going to let her blast Smith. Those who responded to what Owens said, suggested that she is not well informed on the vaccine. Others mentioned, the vaccine helps to fight the virus. There is still a possibility you can get the virus. However, according to the scientist, and current data you have a better chance of survival with the vaccine.
Was Owens trying to get a rise out of Smith, is anyone’s guess. Personally, I think Owen’s comments were really unnecessary. When it is okay to insult someone’s intelligence? We are all entitled to our opinions. In this case, Owens went too far.
Of course, there are some who will not get vaccinated. Then again, there who will and have been fully vaccinated. Ultimately, it is a personal choice. Therefore, no one should be persuaded either way. At the end of the day, you have to live with the choices you make. Right???
