Even though the men could not be home with their loved ones, Diddy made sure they all had more than enough to eat.

Known for his philanthropic efforts, which obviously have not stopped since he has been in prison. Instead of inmates having a mediocre Thanksgiving, Diddy came to the rescue.
Not only did the inmates at Fort Dix have a great meal, but it was also provided by one of their own. According to TMZ, Diddy partnered with an internal group called Bankroll Bosses.
He and others spent 2 days preparing the Thanksgiving meal. Each meal was then distributed throughout Fort Dix prison.
As you all know, Diddy requested a transfer to Fort Dix in October 2025. The move came after his trial concluded and he was sentenced.
Before coming to Fort Dix, Diddy had been serving time at New York’s Metropolitan Detention Center since 2024.
A Heartwarming Feast For 1,000 Inmates
Diddy was determined to make Thanksgiving more memorable for his fellow inmates. Therefore, it was essential to provide a meal that made the inmates feel at home.
As Diddy shared,
“Thanksgiving, to me, is about making sure other people eat. Everybody misses their family. People get depressed during the holiday. We just wanted to come together as a family and do our thing.”
With the help of volunteers and donations, he provided 1,000 inmates with a traditional turkey dinner, complete with all the fixings.
Keep in mind, this was a challenge because there are no stoves, no microwaves, or knives. So, inmates improvised by using ID cards for cutting. Nevertheless, this Thanksgiving will not soon be forgotten by inmates.
And it was Diddy and others who made the meal possible with all the fixings. Some of the meals included roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, and dessert.
For many inmates, a meal of this nature was a welcome treat. Mainly because the daily meals served in prison could be considered bland.
More importantly, as Diddy pointed out,
“There’s a lot of misinterpretations about prison. There is a strong brotherhood. We all look out for each other. It’s nothing but a positive thing, ” adding, “It’s a little bit of home in a dark place.
For some, it was a reminder that there are people who care about them and want to make a positive impact in their lives.
Diddy’s gesture not only filled the inmates’ stomachs but also warmed their hearts. Reminding them that they are not forgotten during the holiday season.
As we reflect on this heartwarming gesture, let us be inspired to make a difference in others’ lives. And spread the spirit of Thanksgiving throughout the year.
