In a surprising move, the accuser in the London case against Chris Brown has filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit. The reasons behind this decision are not immediately clear, as both parties appear to have settled.
Although Chris has vehemently denied the accusations, it looked like he was in big trouble. According to Yahoo, Chris was accused of hitting Amadou “Abe” Diaw over the head with a bottle.
The alleged incident occurred outside a nightclub in London. Abe claimed that in February 2023, he was hit with a bottle by Chris. In addition, Abe claimed Omololu Akinlolu, another man, was allegedly involved in the incident.
Both Chris and Omololu were charged in the alleged incident. Fast forward, Chris was arrested in the UK last month. Before Chris could be released from jail, he had to post a very high bond.
Chris paid $6 million to secure his freedom. Afterward, Chris was able to continue his tour in the UK. But this lawsuit was hanging over his head.
In another report by TMZ, Abe has allegedly dismissed the case with prejudice. It appears there was some settlement between Chris and Abe.
