Cardi B Claps Back. Following the Grammy Awards, fans took to Twitter asking why she didn’t show up. They wanted to know why she didn’t show up. Let’s just say, Cardi had time today.

Cardi B Claps Back. For those who didn’t know, the Grammy Awards took place in Las Vegas this past weekend. Many artists decided not to attend. It appears some fans didn’t appreciate said absence. Namely from Cardi B.
After the 2022 Grammy Awards, Cardi went viral. However, it’s for a completely different reason. Several fans began Tweeting her to express their frustrations with her absence.
Interestingly, one person even claimed she “hyped her fans,” giving them the impression she’d be in attendance. Naturally, Cardi took the time to respond. In a string of replies, she kindly let fans know she never said she’d be at the Grammys.
She had this to say:
“Where and when did I ever gave hints ? Like are you ok ? I’m not going to a award if I don’t got a new song to perform Or my album ain’t out …Next year.”
After a few more mentions from Twitter fans, Cardi let a few more ring off:
“I been posting on my IG stories where I been at … like clearly I’m in my house and I’m in NY,” and not at the Grammys in Las Vegas.”
Of course, the Bronx rapper is known to not take kindly to disrespect. So, she had time today.
The Twitter Aftermath
No matter what the WAP rapper said, some fans weren’t satisfied. Unfortunately, the Twitter drama didn’t end so well. Cardi continued to exchange words with naysayers.
One person mentioned her son, and that seemed to be the tip of the iceberg. There were comments alleging her son has autism, which she cleared up.
“None of my kids are autistic … Don’t project what you got on my kids the fuck.”
Although she was replying in defense, some Tweets gained her even more flack. The former Love & Hip Hop star responded in a series of now-deleted Tweets. Eventually, Cardi went live via Instagram to clear any more misconceptions.
All in all, the back and forth was an unfortunate situation.
As a result, she deactivated her Twitter account. Hopefully, she finds peace of mind from this situation. Let’s keep the platinum rapper in our thoughts this week.
