Brandy Celebrates Her Partnership With Motown Records

Brandy Norwood signs with the legendary record label, Motown.

As we just saw Brandy on the BET stage, as she joined Jack Harlow, performing her freestyle to Jack’s “First Class.”

After feuding with Harlow in the past, I guess that friction is now over.

Now, the Grammy award-winning R&B icon has something else to celebrate.

She recently signed with Motown and took to social media to express her excitement, posting –

“Thank you God for a dream come true! I’m so excited to announce my partnership with @motownrecordsand the incomparable @theethiopiandream. Thanks to my team and my beautiful fans for riding with me all these years.”

The 43-year-old singer/songwriter/actress is gearing up to release new music.

Motown Records CEO and Chairwoman, Ethiopia Habtemariam shared this in a press release about their partnership with Brandy –

“Brandy is one of the most prolific voices in the history of music. Her contribution to R&B continues to influence newcomers and contemporaries around the world. We are ecstatic to welcome Brandy to the Motown family and eager to join her in making musical history.”Her highly anticipated 8th studio album will be her debut album with Motown.

In addition to her signing, the “Brokenhearted” singer is collaborating with COLORSXSTUDIOS, a unique music platform.

Motown Records, rounding out Black Music Month, the collab took her 2020 hit song, “Rather Be” from her latest album, B7, and made a “masterful” performance.

Check it out now –

No doubt fans will be looking for great things to come out of this collaboration.
