Bad Bunny Will Be Marvel’s First Latino Superhero

Bad Bunny Will Be Marvel’s First Latino Superhero. This is a historic moment for Sony Pictures. El Muerto will be released in January 2024.

El Muerto Is Sony Pictures New Super Hero

Bad Bunny Will Be Marvel’s First Latino Superhero. Sanford Panitch (Sony’s President), Bad Bunny’s name in the film is, Juan -Carlos Estrada Sanchez.

This Marvel character is a wrestler. And, his powers will be in his mask. The powers are said to come from his ancestors. In past comic book strips, El Muerto was seen fighting Spider-Man.

Not to mention, Bad Bunny admitted to fans, he is very excited. He has always been a huge fan of wrestling, as reported by Variety.

Therefore, getting to act like a superhero wrestler is phenomenal. In addition, El Muerto will be going up against Spider-Man. Sony wants to build out Spider-Man’s character.

So, making El Muerto the lead in this film will help. Marvel is responsible for many blockbuster hits. At the same time, Bad Bunny gets the opportunity to act as a comic book character.

It is about time our Latino rappers receive accolades. Having said this, the Latin rapper is still creating music. One of his first hit songs reached No.1 on the Billboard 200.

Hit songs include, “Pa Ti”, “Loco Pero”, Millonario”, Sensualidid, and “I Like It.” In fact, he received a Grammy for, “I Like It.”

More importantly, he performed at the 2020 Superbowl half-time show, as reported by Biography. In an interview, Bad Bunny shared this,

“I’m pleased that we are in a time where I don’t need to change anything about myself — not my musical style, not my language, not my culture — to go far. That doesn’t mean I’ll never sing in English. I already sang in Japanese, so maybe one day I’ll sing in English. It feels great to do things my way.”

Without reservations, Bad Bunny has created music his way. By doing so, he has broken down barriers. Along with, accomplishing a lot in such a short time.

I can’t wait to see him on the big screen. By the way, Cardi B and Bad Bunny collaborated on, “I Like It.”
