Actor Tommy Lister Dead At 62!!!!

Actor Tommy Lister Dead At 62. We say good bye to one of Hollywood’s finest black actors. Tommy better knowns as “Tiny” was a gentle giant.

Tommy’s character “Deebo” catapulted his career

Actor Tommy Lister dead at 62. The famous well -known face and physic of Deebo will forever be etched in our minds. Especially, since the Friday’s franchise gave Tommy his break out role.

Although, the role of Deebo was not the first time we encountered the acting prowess of Tommy. It was one of the roles people will forever remember him for.

However, I really liked Tommy’s role in the movie with Mario Van Peebles Jr. (Posse). Of course, Tommy had significant roles in other movies such as, The Players Club, Star Trek Enterprise, The Dark Knight, Austin Powers in Goldmember, The Human Centipede 3, The Fifth Element, and Little Nicky.

As you can see Tommy had a great career in acting that goes way back. In addition, Tommy was a professional wrestler and he appeared in music videos. I found out that Tommy was suffering with type 2 diabetes. Which was a well kept secret. Also, Tommy was displaying symptoms of Covid – 19 was not tested, as reported by BET.

Unfortunately, Tommy was found in his apartment in Marina Del Rey unresponsive. When Tommy’s co -star Ice Cube got the news he posted a tribute. Here is what Ice Cube had to say:

“RIP Tiny “Deebo” Lister. America’s favorite bully was a born entertainer who would pop into character at the drop of a hat terrifying people on and off camera,” the rapper wrote. “Followed by a big smile and laugh. Thank you for being a good dude at heart. I miss you already.”

Whenever, someone like Tommy dies it is such a tragedy.  Therefore, we send out condolences.
