Actor AJ Johnson Cause Of Death Has Been Revealed

Veteran comedian-actor Anthony”AJ” Johnson died back in  September 2021. At the time the cause of death was unknown. But sources from TMZ report, Johnson died from alleged excessive alcohol use.

Johnson Was Popular For His Appearance In “Friday’s”

The comedian was found in a local store unconscious. He was taken to a nearby hospital and was pronounced dead. There was a lot of speculation concerning his death. Some thought Johnson died from an overdose of drugs. In some way, some may have mistaken Johnson’s real-life for his character “Ezal” in the first Friday movie. Ezal was the crackhead whose character was seen stealing the show from the other actors.

However, Johnson was not on crack. In fact, the cause of death revealed by his autopsy was long-term alcohol use. It was years and years of hard-drinking that ultimately led to Johnson’s death. Also, Johnson had tested positive for Covid-19, as reported by TMZ.

Additionally, the coroner’s report mentioned Johnson’s manner of death was natural. Of course, I am not sure exactly how he died a natural death if it was alcohol that killed him. But I am not a physician. So, I will go with that.

His widow Lexis Johnson told reporters she will keep his memory alive by bringing awareness. Lexis is now speaking to teens about the horrible effects of alcohol use.
