But Hobson and Walton could seal the deal, as reported by AfroTech. Beyond her role in Ariel Investments, Hobson sits on the board of Starbucks Corp.
According to Black America Web, Hobson is one of the most influential black leaders in civic and corporate organizations across the nation. In addition, Hobson is the director of JP Morgan.
Although Hobson will have a minor portion of the NFL Broncos, it is substantial. Any ownership in the team can be very lucrative. Especially since The Denver Broncos are a premiere NFL team.
Having said this, having someone with Hobson’s business acumen is crucial. Therefore, this is a great business decision for everyone involved. Not to mention, it will bring diversity to the NFL.
After all, the NFL has taken a lot of criticism for its lack of diversity. And, Roger Goodell promised to make significant changes. Here is another way to promote diversity.
