Kanye West Faces $2M Lawsuit From The GAP. The clothing giant claims West failed to collaborate. In other words, there was an agreement to renovate a Los Angeles property. However, it did not go as planned.

A lawsuit filed in the Los Angeles West is being accused of making unapproved changes to a rental property.

Art City Center, the owner of the building leased the place to The Gap.

Apparently, there was some renovations that were not completed, as stated by Vibe.

Therefore, ACT is suing The Gap. And in return, The Gap is going after West.

It does seem a bit complicated.

Especially since, West and The Gap were suppose to collaborate on Yeezy Gap collaboration in 2020.


However, West may not be liable for the damages which include, alterations to exterior ramps, and lighting.

In addition, the renovation included removing ceiling lights, building a wall;and fixing three bathrooms.

Unfortunately, West is not unfamiliar with legal battles.

Not long ago, West parted ways with Adidas. That situation with Adidas is still being resolved.

Kanye West Is No Stranger To Lawsuits

This lawsuit is just one of several legal battles that West has faced in recent years.

Rolling Stone reports, shareholders filed a class action lawsuit.

Adidas clothing line failed to  minimize the fallout over their since-terminated partnership with West.

Despite these challenges, West continues to be a prominent figure in the music and fashion industries.

It remains to be seen how this latest lawsuit will play out.

And whether it will have any impact on West’s future business endeavors.
