Dame Talks About 360 Slave Deal!!!

Dame Talks about 360 Slave Deal. The music industry is not like it once was. Business/music mogul Dame speaks on the importance of being your own boss.

Dame suggests young rappers boss up

Dame talks about 360 Slave Deal. We learned that some rappers signed a 360 Slave Deal. This deal ripped off rappers. What I found most alarming was some rappers were not aware until they came back from singing tours.

When Dame was a guest on Hip Hop News Uncensored he discussed this issue. And, during his interview Dame broke it down for hosts O’God and SamAnt.

Of course, it is not the first time we have talked about the 360 Slave Deal. However, Dame gave his perspective on this unfair practice. A few years ago Dame interviewed with Atlanta Black Star he lashed out at so alleged “Culture Vulture” culprit Lyor Cohen.

That interview revealed a lot of detail about shady deals within the hip hop genre. I could remember how R & B artist were taken advantage of as well.

With that said,  it appears black artist were given these shady deals more readily than others. Also, there was know one educating black music artist.

But Dame blew the lid off of this common practice. In his book “Culture Vultures” Dame speaks about how black rappers got took. Unfortunately, many black rappers had no rights to their own publishing, merchandise, licensing, etc.

For this reason, Dame suggests that rappers should own their digitals. More importantly, Dame let’s rappers know brand our own everything.

Furthermore, Dame mentioned that you should be willing to help others become entrepreneurs.  Overall, Dame dropping this kind of wisdom was priceless. Hopefully, young rappers will take heed and learn from Dame.
