The New Orleans native and successful entrepreneur has always felt strongly connected to his hometown. When he learned what had happened, Master P immediately took action.
Teaming up with the city’s Mayor, Master P is committed to seeing Bourbon Street recover from the terrorist attack. He posted a video of him walking down Bourbon Street with Mayor Latoya.

Mayor Latoya Cantrell assured residents and viewers that returning to the famous hub was safe. Although Bourbon Street will face some challenges after the horrific crime, she is determined to restore normalcy.
Hopefully, Master P’s influence and leadership could ease tensions. As the group of people accompanied the two down Bourbon Street, there was a sense of unity.
As for the lone alleged terrorist, he was killed by police during the incident. Shamsud-Din Jabbar, a 42-year-old man, is the suspect in the attack, as stated by BBC. At this time, there is little known about the suspect.
However, the FBI believes he acted alone. In other words, Shamsud-Din did not have any other accomplices.
