“UGANDA, AFRICA I LOVE YOU,” he wrote alongside a video clip of him handing out $100 bills to children. “I CANT WAIT TO EDIT THIS VIDEO. IM SO HAPPY I FLEW 22 HOURS JUST TO MAKE SURE YOU GUYS WERE IN THIS VIDEO. WAPAE MUSIC VIDEO HOPEFULLY THIS SATURDAY/SUNDAY.”
Having said this, Tekashi’s “WAPAE” has racked up over $1.3 million views.
Tekashi further states,
“I decided to jump into the Latin market because 1. I am of Latin decent & 2. Not the main reason but I did sign a 3,000,000 dollar deal in 2020 for a Latin album that I never delivered. But I never expected to receive the support that you guys have given me. I want to say thank you & I love you.”

While in the Dominican Republic, he recorded “Bori” on his iPhone. Now “Bori” is trending on social media.
