The 43-year-old singer/songwriter/actress/producer (Brandy Rayana Norwood) may have had a seizure at her home.

She is currently recovering, according to TMZ.

Apparently, an EMS was called to her home around noon on October 11.

That’s when she was rushed for a medical evaluation.

While she is still in the hospital, her parents are by her side.

However, all indications appear that she will recover.

So far, representatives for Brandy have not commented.

Ms. Norwood has had quite a busy year.

Earlier this year she signed with Motown Records.

Another story in the news earlier this year was about her being sued by a jewelry store over $45,000 in missing jewelry.

Fans will remember how she wowed the audience at the NFL’s NFC Champion game when she sang the National Anthem.

Three months ago she did a live COLORS show.

Recently Stella Rosa debuted a new premium imported brandy that features the singer in an ad.

Get well soon, Brandy.
