There was a promise to put on a show in the future. Also, he offered to give their money back. Live Nation produced the show in Los Angeles. That must have been devastating for The Weekend.
I don’t know any singer who lost their voice mid-performance. Here is some of what he shared,
“My voice went out during the first song and I’m devastated,” the Weeknd explained. “Felt it go and my heart dropped. My deepest apologies to my fans here.” The singer promised to make amends with a rescheduled date.”
Was The Weekend suffering from some sort of illness? Could it have been an upper respiratory issue? Maybe The Weekend was getting hoarse. His voice did sound weird.

Be that as it may, it was very unfortunate this happened. Hopefully, The Grammy award winner can make it up to fans. Or at least issue the refund he promised. Having said this, will The Weekend sing again?
