Adrien Broner Found Sleeping In SUV In Middle Of Traffic
Adrien Broner, 30-year-old former boxing champ was arrested for DUI in Miami Beach on Friday. It all went down about 8:45 when the authorities came upon the boxer passed out in his vehicle in the middle of traffic. The engine was still running and he was later arrested.
Eventually, they had to shake the car to wake him up. Broner was confused, rolled down his window. At that point, a cop reached inside his SUV and put it in park. According to the police report, officers noted that Broner had a “low, slurred speech and bloodshot/watery eyes.”
A sobriety test was administered in which the boxer did not pass. He was arrested immediately. Described as “unconscious, but breathing,” Broner was taken into custody and placed on an 8-hour-hold.
As reported by TMZ, the police banged on the windows to get his attention, but they got no response from him.
Broner No Stranger To Trouble With The Law
This is not the first time Broner has been in trouble with the law. Among other things, he’s been accused of –
- sexually assaulting multiple women
- assaulting a waitress at a night club
- not paying jewelry debts
- failing to appear in court
