Chance the Rapper Donates $1Mil To Chicago Public Schools!!!|Throwback
Chance the Rapper donate $1 million to Chicago Public Schools. When Chance heard how the Chicago school system was having money issues. Chance took matters into his own hands. Apparently, the school district was proposing budget cuts, according to CNN News. Chance had a news conference and announced he would be giving the donation. Chance had this to say to the students who were at attendance during the conference:
“Today, I’m proud to announce that I am donating $ 1 million to CPS to support arts and enrichment programming,”
The rapper had previously met with the Governor Rauner to address funding for Chicago’s public school. Chance is making a great investment into Chicago’s children in public school.
