Tyrese To Play Teddy Pendergrass in Biopic!!!!! R&B singer and actor Tyrese will use his acting chops and melodic voice to play classic R&B crooner Teddy Pendergrass. Also, Tyrese currently stars in the hit movie, “Black and Blue”.

I am so very happy that Tyrese will Play Teddy Pendergrass in a Biopic!!!!! Tyrese has had many hit songs on the charts such as, Sweet Lady, Signs of Love Makin, and my personal favorite, Lately. Also, he has starred in many movies such as Four Brothers, Fast and Furious, and my personal favorite, Baby Boy. Lastly, he will be playing the late, great Teddy Pendergrass in a biopic. According to Entertainment Weekly, Warner Bros. have secured the rights of Teddy Pendergrass’ life and the movie will be written by Little Marvin, with Lee Daniels and Tyrese producing it. Joan Pendergrass, which is Teddy Pendergrass’ widow, will be executive producer.
