Roddy Ricch dropped out of an SNL performance. All due to a breakout of COVID amongst his camp.
Roddy Ricch May Grace The SNL Stage Soon
Rapper Roddy Ricch (real name Rodrick Wayne Moore, Jr.) was scheduled to perform on the Saturday Night Live stage.
However, he had to pull out due to a COVID exposure on his team.
In his place, SNL tapped indie pop band Bleachers.
But not to worry, the Die Young rapper from Compton confirms that negotiations are happening to set another date, posting –
“I’m working with the SNL team to lock in a new date though.”
Releasing his latest album on December 17, 2021, Live Life Fa$t, fans were anticipating seeing a live performance of something from the project.
Live Life Fa$t debuted on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart at Number 1.
That feat marked the 2nd time he debuted at the top of the charts.
Even though the critics were mixed about the project.
So hold on, fans may be seeing him one Saturday night on SNL sooner rather than later.
