The female rapper had such a banner year in 2024. Her debut album, “Glorious,” hit No. 5 on Billboard. Also, “Glorious” got the No. 2 spot on the R&B/Hip-Hop charts, as stated by Yahoo.
In addition, GloRilla is up for 2 Grammy nominations for “Best Rap Song” and “Best Rap Performance “categories. Rolling Stone named GloRilla’s songs some of the best last year.

That is quite an honor for the 25-year-old rapper. Gloria Hallelujah Woods is a native of Memphis, Tennessee. Her success can be attributed to being on Yo Gotti’s record label CMG (Collective Music Group).
In case you don’t know, Yo Gotti is one of Memphis’s premiere rappers. According to Hip Hop Dx, Billboard placed GloRilla as the top female rapper out of the ten people on the list.
That list includes GloRilla as the number one female rapper, followed by Megan Thee Stallion in second place and Cardi B in tenth place.
Chappelle Will Be Hosting While GloRilla Performs
GloRilla was considered to be one of the hottest female rappers in 2024. Looks like GloRilla is starting this year with a bang. At the same time, veteran comedian Dave Chappelle will host SNL.
Dave has hosted SNL at least four times. According to BET, he will host the show on January 18, 2025. He has been a favorite of SNL for many years.
