Notorious B.I.G Enters The Metaverse. It’s been an eventful weekend for the family of the late Christopher Wallace. After celebrating what would have been his 50th birthday, it’s been announced that he’s a part of the Metaverse.

According to HipHopDX, his mother Voletta Wallace announced Biggie is officially part of the cryptocurrency world.
Also, the venture took two years. But fans can now experience Wallaces’ avatar within the Metaverse.
Initially, Brookverse hinted at this on Twitter. It includes a B.I.G avatar encouraging people to tap in.

Subsequently, Voletta Wallace explained in greater detail on Instagram:
“I’m humbled and very excited to share what we’ve been working on for 2 years, which is now ready for Biggie fans new and old to enjoy. Today we bring my son Christopher’s Hyperrealistic avatar in The Brook metaverse to the world.. I believe you will love it as much as I do..”
Apart from Biggie Smalls’ posthumous Metaverse induction, he’s officially an NFT. Alongside Quincy Jones, The Christopher Wallace Estate has a partnership with Web3 company OneOf.

Additionally, Ms. Wallace expressed how technology continues to surpass expectations.
“Technology continues to create opportunities that are beyond one’s imagination and I’m excited that we are stepping into the future with a beautiful rendition of a hyperrealistic avatar of my son Christopher and I’m thankful for our wonderful team of creative partners for their work to deliver Biggie into new media for his fans to enjoy.”
Furthermore, some of the proceeds from the NFT will go to the Christopher Wallace Memorial Foundation. So, his estate is certainly doing positive things with this endeavor.
This announcement coupled with the amazing commemoration over the weekend reminds us just how essential he is to the culture.
Lastly, Biggies’ mother showed her gratitude for the never-ending love and support of the Brooklyn legend.
She wrote:
“Tonight, the Empire State Building went B.I.G. Lighting up the city for my Son. Thank you for everyone who made this possible.”
